            Introduction:

"Beauty" is what everyone yearns for, but not everyone can really understand the meaning of aesthetics. For teenagers, it is necessary to know about certain aesthetic knowledge. Teenagers are changing obviously, and they are very sensitive to beautiful things. The aesthetic education of the museum hopes that we can open our eyes and arms to find, pursue and embrace all the beauty in our life-not really find the ultimate truth of beauty, but only find the eyes for beauty.

Traditional crafts refer to those crafts and techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation, with a history of more than 100 years, complete technological processes, natural materials, distinctive ethnic style and local characteristics. Beginning in early 2017, the Xuzhou Museum introduced the classic Chinese traditional crafts to young friends for ten times. The content for this time is: traditional art work experience of Han Dynasty jade processing technology.

An ancient Chinese saying goes: "The finest diamond must be cut." The ancient Chinese jade processing technology has always been mysterious because of few records and conservative technology. When people see exquisite jade in museum, do they wonder the following question: Where the raw material comes from? Who made them? What tools were used? What use will these jade articles have in the end? The abov processes not only involve many social industries, but also undergo complex and special technological processes, which is also a little known fact.

The Han Dynasty was an era of strong national strength, vast territory, and prosperous economy in our history. Carrying forward the culture of different regions of the pre-Qin period, it has an eclectic mix and a new style of the times, creating a Han Dynasty civilization that has attracted worldwide attention and has a great impact on the development of Chinese traditional culture. As a spiritual product, art reflects the ideology and features of a particular era created by the cultural environment of that era. Of course, jade art is no exception.

In terms of carving crafts, there are more round, high-relief, open-carved jade and inlaid jade articles. The decoration is mainly abstract, and is more realistic. Some jade-like jade articles are of reality and vitality. These are beyond the reach of pre-Qin jadeware.

On the morning of July 15, the educators of Xuzhou Museum will lead everyone to appreciate jade processing technology in the Han Dynasty, to enjoy exquisite traditional Chinese craftsmanship, and the magic of artisans to create artworks.
