The fourth Jiangsu volunteer service exhibition and exchange conference was held in Yangzhou National Exhibition Center from July 13 to 14, 2019. The theme of this Expo is "to practice civilization and go with one's own will". In the promotion meeting of excellent projects, Xuzhou museum's "Xuzhou treasures come to visit the community -- Cultural voluntary service into the community" project stands out from 650 projects in the exhibition, and won the gold medal project of the Expo.
"Let the cultural relics collected in museums, the legacy displayed on the vast land, and the words written in the ancient books are all alive". This is the ardent hope of general secretary Xi Jinping at the UNESCO headquarters. Xuzhou is the birthplace of "Han culture". The Xuzhou Museum collects the treasures of Han family. They all tell the glorious history and profound culture of the ancient city with a history of 2600 years in silence.
"Xuzhou treasures come to visit" is a brand project created by the volunteer service team of Xuzhou Museum. It aims to promote traditional culture and spread civilization through the theme of volunteers, so that the masses can deeply feel the historical charm of local culture.
