On July 13, the 2018 "Internet + Cultural Relics Information Resources" International Academic Seminar held by Xuzhou Museum was co-sponsored by the Museum Building Space and New Technology Professional Committee of the Chinese Museum Association, Xuzhou Museum, and the Internet of Things Construction Technology Innovation Alliance in the field of cultural relics protection. It also the opening ceremony of Museum New Technology Alliance Workshop of Jiangsu Province Museum. An Laishun, vice chairman of the International Museum Association and vice chairman of the Chinese Museum Association, Gong Liang, member of the Party group, deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture, and dean of the Nanjing Museum, and Li Yan, deputy mayor of Xuzhou, attended the meeting.

      At the opening ceremony, vice mayor Li Yan, on behalf of the people's government of Xuzhou, extended a sincere welcome to all the guests to the meeting and pointed out that general secretary Xi gave full affirmation to the revitalization, transformation and development of Xuzhou during his visit to Xuzhou in December 2017. In addition, Jiangsu provincial Party committee and provincial government clearly pointed out that "support Xuzhou museum to establish a national first-class museum" in the supporting Xuzhou to build a central city of Huaihai economic zone document, so Xuzhou museum encountered a valuable opportunity that has never had in history. At present, the Xuzhou Museum is viewing the establishment of a national first-class museum as its goal, and taking the upgrading and reconstruction project of the exhibition hall as its main task, so as to accelerate the improvement of the museum's hardware construction and software services.

      On behalf of the Jiangsu Provincial Culture Department and the Nanjing Museum, Mr. Gong Liang pointed out that Internet communication is a double-edged sword in the new era. Chinese museums need to pay attention to the key points of transformation when they are in a new development stage. They should not only make good use of advanced technology, but also grasp the content of communication and tell the story of Chinese tradition and regional civilization. Mr. Gong Liang fully affirmed the four-in-one setting of Xuzhou Museum integrating ancient ruins, ancient tombs, and ancient buildings, as well as its display with distinctive Han culture.

      Yao zhao, deputy director of the Information Consultation Center of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, analyzed the problems existing in the current information industry of cultural relics, and pointed out the conflicts and opportunities between the intellectual property protection of cultural relics information and Internet sharing in combination with the theme of the conference.

      With "Internet + Cultural Relics Information Resources" as its theme, the meeting invited the international and domestic senior experts specialized in museum and new technology research to communicate and exchange with the museum research staff on many aspects, such as information resources sharing of cultural relics, value finding and innovative use of information technology , which aims to implement the series of important statements about cultural heritage protection by general secretary Xi, complete the national "Internet + Chinese Civilization" three-year action plan, accelerate the construction of cultural information resources sharing system, and give full play to the unique advantages of cultural relics in fostering and carrying forward core socialist values, and in building an excellent system of cultural inheritance and public cultural services.
